We are currently looking to add a remote Enterprise Account Manager to our team in Clinical Sales. In this role you will be responsible for the development and performance of all retail clinical sales activities in the United States. Provide senior-level leadership to ensure achievement of Company goals and profitability. Lead the team of Clinical Sales Specialists responsible for sales in the clinical market. Interact with distribution channel partner leadership to establish sales partnerships with Microbiologics. Educate, train, and support channel partners to drive sales of our clinical product portfolio.


What can I expect in this role?

This is a full-time remote salaried position.


Some key duties in this role include:

  • Develop and execute a business plan and sales strategy by market that ensures attainment of company revenue and profitability goals.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of clinical distributor partners.
  • Establish relationships with key individuals at specified distributors.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of Clinical Sales Specialists.
  • Recruit, hire, develop and monitor activities of Clinical Sales Specialists.
  • Maintain knowledge and updates to distributor contracts.
  • Establish annual sales goals with designated clinical distributors.
  • Attend annual distributor meeting.
  • Partner with Marketing in the development of joint Sales and Marketing plans, as well as with Research and Development to ensure prioritization of product development and improvement efforts to meet customers’ needs.
  • Provide timely feedback and analysis regarding products, sales and markets to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Provide timely feedback regarding competition and pricing.
  • Manage expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Create and conduct company and product presentation.
  • Develop, manage, and build working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and serve on key industry and regulatory committees and working groups.
  • Regularly attend trade shows and events.
  • Set example for Clinical Sales Specialists in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills and work habits.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact with and cooperate with employees at all levels.
  • Perform other duties within the Sales department or other areas as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Observe all company policies, rules, and safety practices.
  • Able to travel 50% of the time. Some travel is overnight and involves traveling by airplane.

Here is what we are looking for:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum seven years previous medical or life science sales and/or sales management experience required.
  • Minimum five years previous sales and/or sales management experience with a top tier medial distributor.
  • Practical medical device and/or microbiology diagnostics and/or pharmaceutical laboratory supply sales experience preferred.

The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
